Quarter 2, Week 5 – Normal and Inverted Word Order
In this week we had our spelling bee words like cappuccino, machinist, fission, etc. We also had our Anglo-American Literature Icon which is John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. John Ronald Reuel Tolkien was an English writer, a poet, He is best known as the author of "The High Fantasy Works" "The Hobbit" and"The Lord of The Rings". He is also identified as the Father of Modern Fantasy Literature. We had our figure of speech in focus, Hyperbole. Hyperbole is a figure of speech of exaggerated statements or claims used to make a point or show emphasis, but are not meant to be taken literally.

Example of Hyperbole: I have a million things to do today. Our topic this week is all about the "Normal and Inverted Word Order". Normal Word Order is the sentence that is normal or natural order where the verb follows the subject, While Inverted Word Order is the sentence where the main verb, a helping verb, or a prepositional phrase comes before the subject. We had our exercises like determining if it is Normal or Inverted word order, choosing the correct letter, and some arranging sentences. We have our trivia like "What is the body temperature in celsius?", What is the PH scale number considered neutral?", and "What is New Normal?". We are also given a task to do write our blogs.
